What are Deposit Channels?
Deposit Channels are permanent crypto deposit addresses assigned to individual end‐users.
Each channel belongs to one customer only.
When should you use Deposit Channels?
Use Deposit Channels when:
You expect repeat deposits
You operate a platform or marketplace
You need automatic deposit matching
Critical rule
Avoid assigning a single channel to multiple end-users, as it will prevent you from identifying which user sent the funds.
Why: Blockchain transactions do not carry user identifiers. Reusing a channel makes reconciliation impossible.
How to create a Channel?
Go to the Channels section and click + New Channel.
Select the Target Currency and Account — this is the account where all deposits made via this Channel will be credited.
Specify the Display Currency — the currency shown to your customer during the deposit process.
Choose the Pay Currency — the currency your customer will use to make a deposit, then select the appropriate Network.
Add a Reference and click Create.

Statuses
1) Channels can be enabled or disabled.
Enabled: The enabled state means that Txn will process incoming deposit transactions and credit the merchant's balance as usual.
Disabled: The disabled state means that Txn won't process incoming deposits, convert crypto to fiat, or credit funds to the merchant's balance. This can be useful when merchants want to stop or pause deposits made through a particular channel.
2) Deposits made to the specific channel can have pending, completed, on hold or rejected statuses:
Pending - this status means that deposit was detected. Txn is awaiting transaction confirmation on the blockchain. At this stage you need to wait this deposit to be completed or rejected;
Completed - this status means that deposit was successfully confirmed on the blockchain. Txn has credited the funds to the merchant. This is the final status of the deposit;
On hold - this status means that deposit has been evaluated as a risk and is subject to further review by Compliance. We'll contact you after detecting this transaction with further instructions;
Rejected - this status means that deposit has been rejected by Compliance Team. This can be the final status. Please check on hold status description.
