Payment Links

Use a link to receive or send your crypto

Updated over 2 months ago

What are Payment Links?

Payment Links are TXN‐hosted checkout pages that guide customers through making a crypto payment. Instead of sending a raw wallet address, you send a link where the customer selects the cryptocurrency and blockchain network themselves.

When should you use Payment Links?

Use Payment Links when:

  • You need a one‐off or ad‐hoc payment

  • The customer is not experienced with crypto

  • You want to reduce wrong‐network payments

What are Payment Links?

  1. Invoice Payment Links

These links initiate the creation of invoices and create invoice webhook messages.

  2. Payout Payment Links

These links perform a similar function for payouts: initiates the creation of payout and creates corresponding webhook messages.

How to create a Payment Link?

  1. Choose a Payment link section and click to +Create Link

  2. Choose Account, insert Amount, and choose if you want to Send or Receive transaction. The Account you've chosen will be either Sender (if Send) or Recipient Account (if Receive). Specify the payment link's valid time period

  3. Click to Create. Now you can cope the created link and send it to the customer.

Please refer to our technical documentation for more details.

Statuses of Payment Link:

  • Created

    • This is the initial status of the Payment Link, which will later update to either -> Pending (if end-user opened the link and makes a payment), -> Completed (if end-user completes the payment) or Expired (if end-user hasn't made a payment).

  • Pending

    • Pending means that the end-user has triggered the creation of a child invoice or payout via the payment link. If they complete the payment, the payment link status updates to Completed. Otherwise, it changes to Expired (if end-user hasn't made a payment).

  • Completed

    • This is the final status, indicating that end-user has successfully initiated a child Invoice or Payout through the Payment Link. As a result, the Payment Link is considered Completed.

  • Expired

    • This is the final status, indicating that end-user did not proceed with initiating their deposit or withdrawal transaction while the Payment Link was pending.

Common mistakes to avoid

• Sharing a raw wallet address instead of a link

• Forgetting to confirm supported assets

Payment Links are the safest option for non‐crypto‐native customers.
