What are the Payouts?
Payouts are used to send cryptocurrency from your fiat or crypto accounts on the Txn platform to external wallets.
Each payout includes the amount, currency, network, and recipient wallet address.
Txn processes payouts individually and broadcasts each transaction to the blockchain as soon as possible (payouts are not batched).
Important: The asset and network must exactly match the recipient wallet. Using the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds.
How to create a Payout?
1) Open Payouts
Go to Payouts → + Create Payout in the main menu.
2) Select the asset
Choose the Account you want to send from your available balances.
3) Select the Network
Select the correct blockchain network supported by the recipient wallet.
4) Enter recipient address
Paste the wallet address or select one from Crypto Contacts if already saved.
5) Enter the amount
Specify the payout amount. You can enable Send exact amount feature.
It means that both fees are deducted from your account balance, when it's disabled, both service and network fees are deducted from the transaction amount.
6) Review and Send
Carefully review all details and submit the payout.
If Approvals are enabled, the payout will wait for approval before being processed.
What are the fees?
When creating a payout, two types of fees apply:
• Payout fee – a platform service fee charged by TXN
• Network (miner) fee – a blockchain fee required to process the transaction on the network
Network fees may change over time depending on blockchain conditions and can be updated without prior notice.
You can control how fees are charged using the absorb Payout Fee and absorb Network Fee parameters:
Fees can be absorbed by the merchant (deducted from the account balance),
or deducted from the payout amount, reducing the amount received by the recipient.
Don't hesitate to check our technical documentation for more information.
Payout statuses:
Processing – The payout request is being processed by the Txn platform - awaiting approval or blockchain broadcast
Completed (final) – the payout request is completed - the transaction has received at least 1 confirmation on blockchain
Cancelled (final) – the payout request was cancelled and will not proceed further.
When to use Payouts?
When sending individual or one-off payments, use Payouts.
If you're planning to send high volumes of payments, use Mass Payouts instead.
